Spencer the Gardener and friends are kicking off Ojai Night 2022 at the Bowl with a free community concert. Spencer’s band has been described as California sun-kissed, Latin-tinged, genre-bending, big-band surf mariachi indie pop is distinctively quirky and sonically unrivaled . . .”Spencer’s career started in the 1980s with the heart-throb towheads, The Tan, and has continued to evolve as the band continues to pack theaters and house parties up and down the Coast”–and now, Ojai!
Come on by and help kick off Ojai Night. Following the concert at 6:30 p.m., the Ojai Valley News will host an Ojai Day After-Party and Ojai Valley News birthday celebration in the parking lot next to the Libbey Bowl fountain.
