I remember “Train Breaks” in the Ojai Music Festival, back in the days when the little train made its daily run to pick up oranges at the packing plant on Bryant Street. The tracks ran just behind the Bowl, and the little train was required to toot its horn at every intersection, all the way in and back again. World-class musicians were silences, and the audience laughed at this hometown touch to the Festival.
